Family History Organizer

Family history research becomes easier to continue and share when discoveries and unanswered questions are organized consistently.

What to organize

  • Start with yourself and close relatives, recording names, relationships, dates, locations, and stories.
  • Record the source of each discovery so information can be evaluated later.
  • Add names, approximate dates, locations, and relationships to photographs whenever possible.
  • Maintain a list of unresolved research questions to guide future work.
